Copyright in the content lies with the person who created the image or took the photograph, and photographers who have signed a Publishing Agreement may need permission from the client or publishing company to include the photographs in a Momento book. For further information on copyright visit the Copyright Council of Australia or the ArtsLaw Centre of Australia.

Can friends view or buy my photobook online?
Yes, your invited guests can view or buy your photobook at the Momento website. The Your Books page lists all your current and archived books and provides an option to 'invite a friend' to view your book at a private web page on the Momento site. Your guest's name and email details are entered by you and are not recorded by Momento, this ensures that all Anti-Spam and Privacy laws are met, and ensures that only you and your guests have access to your books online.

Photobook care instructions
Each Momento photobook is printed as a high quality digital print rather than via traditional photographic printing processes, and as with photographic prints the quality and colour may vary slightly from page to page. The manufacturers estimate a lifetime of 105 years for the paper stock and 85 lightfast years for the ink.
We warrant no responsibility for the longevity of your Momento photobook but recommend you store it in a dry place out of direct or ultraviolet light, and avoid bending the cover beyond its natural limits. For added protection, the wrap-around cover sleeve is tear and water-resistant and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. But do not bring the book in to contact with solvents, cleaning products or sharp objects as they may damage the surface quality.

Environmental Policy
Momento is proud to be a green company, conciously sourcing materials from suppliers that are industry-accredited as environmentally friendly. Printing tests on 100% recycled paper unfortunately produced unsatisfactory print quality and durability results. The paper chosen for Momento photobook pages is acid free and made from elemental chlorine free pulp from 100% renewable timber and balances aesthetic quality with environmental impact and longevity.
The paper is produced by Nordland Papier, ISO-accredited for having environmental standards above the legislated requirements, and our packaging materials are supplied by Carter Holt Harvey who won an Environmental Packaging Award 2003 for their efforts to minimise environmental impact in all stages of production. Momento will continue to investigate the use of 100% recycled paper, and remain committed to environmentally friendly policies whereever possible.
